Care Instructions

A little thoughtfulness goes a long way — your artwork will stay as vivid as the day it arrived.

Last updated: 21 April 2026

General

  • Keep artwork away from direct sunlight; UV fades pigments and yellows paper over time.
  • Avoid hanging in bathrooms, near stovetops, or in any space with high humidity and temperature swings.
  • Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. No chemical sprays.

Acrylic & mixed-media paintings

  • If unframed, handle only by the stretcher bar on the back of the canvas; oils from your fingers can mark the surface.
  • A very light dusting with a soft brush once a month keeps the surface clear.

Mandala, glass & MDF art

  • These are hand-painted and often include embellishments (stones, beads). Handle with clean hands and avoid flexing the base.
  • For glass pieces, clean only the unpainted side with a damp cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the paint.

Framing

If you'd like a piece framed after purchase, we're happy to recommend a local framer or arrange framing for you at cost. Email admin@ayansastudio.com.

Restoration & touch-ups

Accidents happen. If your artwork gets damaged, reach out — minor touch-ups are often possible, and we'll quote a fair price.
